Carus Consulting Actuaries is an independent firm of consulting actuaries, with additional medical expertise, specialising in providing advice on
severe personal injury claims and life assurance governance.
We are quite deliberately and intend to remain a small consultancy in order to
provide specialist services in a cost-effective way for continuing support or
for individual one-off projects. Examples of each type of consultancy are available on our

Notwithstanding our size, we are able to undertake substantial commissions as we
have strong contacts with a wide range of specialist resources whom we can add to client
projects as necessary. These services include, for example, strategic planning, project
management, training, pensions, and independent financial advice.
