Governance
With long experience in insurance, Anthony Carus is well-placed to assist and advise on governance and other matters.
Directorship
Anthony Carus has been a non-executive director of Royal Liver Assurance since 2004 where he chairs the With-Profits Committee. He also sits on the Capital Management Group, the Remuneration Committee and, having chaired the Audit Committee in the past, now sits as a member.
Anthony has also been a member of the Professional Oversight Board of the Financial Reporting Council since 2006.
Peer Review and Independent Person
We provide peer review services to both the Head of Actuarial Function and the With-Profits Actuary for a life company.
News Dec 2009: The ABI has issued guidance on best practice for life insurers for the external review of internal actuarial advice.
