Seventh Edition of the Ogden Tables now published

The seventh edition is published today.
We have written a note summarising the main changes and that is available here.
We have also produced a new version of our calculator to reflect the new edition and made some changes principally to allow for any age, rather than by years and months, and to allow for any age rating, not just in whole years. Both are, we think, necessary improvements and make the calculator more useful particularly where the life expectancy is impaired.

Lord Chancellor to Review Discount Rate
November 2010
It is reported by Post Magazine online that the Lord Chancellor is to review the discount rate used to determine the value of personal injury claims.
FSA's With-Profits Review
June 2010
The FSA has published its report into the review of with-profits that it carried out in early 2010.
